UMCRB Capital Campaign 2023-2026

On July 1, 2023 we embarked on a capital campaign to benefit our church community and the growing number of visitors and community partners who use our building. Our four capital campaign projects are now complete, with only a few final adjustments remaining in the kitchen!
 
As you may recall, our campaign focused on two core areas: hospitality and environmental stewardship. Because of our generous donors, we were able to complete all four planned upgrades to support these initiatives:
  • Primary Restrooms: Our primary restrooms underwent a total makeover, adding water-
    efficient plumbing fixtures, energy-efficient lighting and full handicap accessibility in both
    restrooms.
  • Room 114: This space was updated with new flooring, a fresh ceiling, paint, blinds and
    energy- efficient lighting and windows.
  • The Kitchen: Our range and ovens were updated to eliminate standing pilots. In
    addition, the lighting, dishwasher, and freezer were all replaced with modern, energy-
    saving models.
  • Building Windows: We originally expected to replace about 35 windows but because
    we exceeded our giving goals, we were able to replace 73 original windows with new,
    well-insulated, energy-efficient models.

Our fundraising period concluded on June 30, 2026,

and we exceeded our $300,000 fund raising goal!
