8:15 AM Traditional Worship in Chapel
* Communion served weekly
9:30 AM Traditional Worship in Sanctuary
* Communion on the 1st Sunday of each month
11:00 AM The Village Worship in Fellowship Hall

Trunk or Treat
Sunday, October 29th at 1:00 PM
Join in the Halloween fun and help us host a great community day! Sign up today
to decorate the trunk of your car in a Halloween theme and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters.
We’ll transform our parking lot into a safe space for trick-or-treating. Please
remember our no nuts/peanuts policy – read labels. Dress up to add to the fun. There
will be prizes for best-decorated trunk and best costume! Contact Elaine Dawson

Come see all the baskets on display each Sunday in the Library area. Winners will
be announced at the end of the Bazaar.
UMW Bazaar Needs your help
We need your slightly used Christmas decorations and items of good quality for our
Tiffany table. Please leave donations in boxes under the pews in 114 labeled either
UMW or Bazaar. We also need help to work the Bazaar tables, on Sat and possibly
Sun Nov. 11 & 12. Please let Linda Babler lsbabler@aol.com know if you are available.

Super Saturday Church Conference Oct. 28 from 8:45-11:45 am
This year, all churches from the Central Region of the GNJAC are conferencing and
worshiping together. Churches will gather at Calvary Korean UMC (572 Ryders Ln,
E. Brunswick), meet separately for their church conference meetings (all full members
have voice and vote), and unite for worship and plenary led by Rev. Tony Campolo.

Worship Sneak Peek
Join us this Sunday (10/22) in worship as we continue with our fourth week in our
worship series called “Put Your Whole Selves In.” Being part of a church means more
than simply showing up on Sunday mornings. When we say YES to church membership,
we make a promise to God and each other to support the church with our prayers,
presence, gifts, service, and witness, but we rarely take the time to discuss what
that means and looks like in our own lives. This series will reflect on how we can
live our faith within the life of the church in a way that puts our whole selves
in, transforming us from the inside out, and giving God our very best!
When Jesus said, “Where your treasure lies, there your heart will
be also,” he was reminding his followers that how we choose to spend our money reflects
our values and what we hold dear. We’ll explore together what it means to lead our
financial lives with our hearts and how we can intentionally put God first.
