Taize Service – 7:00 PM
at St. John’s UMC in Hazlet
Join a few of us in a Taize style service of music and meditative prayer. If you’d
like to join the carpool to Hazlet, meet in our church parking lot at 6:15 PM.

Holy Thursday 4/13
Seder Potluck Dinner
6:30 PM @ Ebmury UMC in Little Silver
Embury will be hosting a Seder Meal reenacting Jesus’ Last Supper. This is a spiritual
worship service with traditional Jewish Passover liturgy and meal/dinner culminating
with Holy Communion. Dinner is potluck and participants are asked to bring food
to share. Any meat dish, side dish and desserts are welcome. Matzo will be provided.
Join us and bring friends!
In keeping with the Jewish tradition (it will not be 100% Kosher even if we tried.
However…), we ask that you keep in mind the following: No pork or pork meat products.
Meat and dairy cannot be mixed in the same dish, such as casseroles. No yeast in
the bread or cake. There are many websites on the Internet with recipes for Seder

Watch the sun break the horizon as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. Dress
warmly as the beach is cold in the early morning! Breakfast is available at the
Sea Bright UMC after the service.
