Groups and Programs for Adults

Companions in Christ

Companions in Christ is continuing with an 8 week program "The Way of Forgiveness" beginning on Thursday, September 13th. You have a choice of either a morning (9:30 - 11:30 a.m.) or evening (7:00 - 9:00 p.m.). Prior participation in the 28 week Companions course is not required. Space is limited! Please sign up in Fellowship Hall, or contact the church office at (732) 747-0446 for more information.


Regular Adult Bible Studies

Rev. Hearth leads two regularly scheduled Bible Studies: 7:30 a.m. on Mondays, and 10:00 a.m. on Wednesdays. Contact the church office at (732) 747-0446 for more information.


United Methodist Women

The organized unit of the UNITED METHODIST WOMEN shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Membership in Red Bank UMW is open to all women of the congregation. Monthly meetings of the full membership take place the 1st Thursday of the month. Most meetings are held at 12:30 p.m., but some evening meetings are periodically scheduled. In addition to UMW business, speakers or other programs are presented.

Fellowship Groups are small groups of members which meet monthly. Each group plans its own program, often including use of the study books. The groups also take turns hosting the General Meeting by providing desserts and beverages. There are currently 4 Fellowship Groups:

Woman of the Year honors a member who has made significant contributions to our local UMW unit.
